Project cargo/breakbulk

From heavy lift equipment, machinery, assembly parts to large engine or large constructions; we know how to handle them as an international forwarder, both on the vessel and on the shore. As an international freight forwarder with  over 15 years of experience in handling complex shipping projects, we follow your cargo from pick-up point to delivery. This way we ensure your project runs as smoothly as planned. Because we are an experienced shipping company, we have handled various difficult projects in the past. Sea freight

For centuries, sea freight has been an excellent method of intercontinental transport and it is widely considered to be an important component of global trade. Through a single point of contact, we provide full container load services, on a door-to-door or port-to-port basis. By using us as your international forwarder, you can transport to almost any destination in the world through our worldwide network of carriers. We can also arrange for pickup and delivery and manage shipping documentation. Our carrier relationships enable us to offer our services at competitive rates while our expertise and seamless global networks help reduce your administrative burden. As an international forwarder, we have long-term relationships with many carriers, which allows us to ensure the availability of space and equipment. The different types of sea freight we can handle are:

 

  • FCL (dry, special and reefer containers)

  • LCL

  • RO/RO

  • Conventional & project freight

Air freight

Air freight service means taking up changing market situations and complex requirements in advance and consistently translating them into individual logistic solutions. Reliability, quality, and flexibility are the focus of our work. In need of an urgent delivery? As international forwarder, we offer various air freight solutions through our global network. We help you to ship your cargo without restrictions in volume or weight, to and from all European airports.

Logistics

As international forwarder, we offer assistance in:

 

  • Terminal services:

    VGM, fumigation or heat treatment, supervision of your cargo on the terminal,
    providing pictures once your cargo arrived in the port, discharging of oversized and heavy lift cargo, assembly & packing of your cargo on the terminal;

  • Warehousing:

    stuffing your export containers and/or stripping your import containers, short
    and/or long term storage, temperatur controlled storage, speciliazed IMO certificated storage, assembly & packing of the cargo, bonded warehousing.

  • National and international distribution:

    container trucking, transport by tilt-trailer, temperature controlled transports, exceptional transports;

  • Customs formalities:

    export & import clearance, fiscal representation, issuing EUR 1/ATR/T2L.

LG Global Forwarding is an international forwarder based in Antwerp, founded in 2019. With over fifteen years of experience in freight forwarding, Kristoff Lemahieu decided it was time to chase his dream: founding his own company. We offer a personal approach and tailor-made solutions for your cargo with the highest level of service.
